Some pieces you forget you're wearing - until the light catches them and reminds you. I made these hoops for the women who want something real on their ears without having to think about it - each one formed by hand from a single length of copper wire, shaped into its circle, then faceted one small strike at a time until the whole surface catches light the way only hammered copper does.
Copper has been worn close to the skin for thousands of years, and the women who come back to me always say the same thing: it just feels right in a way they can't quite explain.
These are among the last earrings I'll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope they find the ears that will wear them every single day.
How do I know if it's real copper?
Real copper is not magnetic. Hold any fridge magnet against your piece: if it slides off, it's solid copper. If it sticks, it isn't. Every Ayurveda Heritage piece passes this test, or you get a full refund.
Copper care
Copper naturally darkens and develops a warm patina over time. To bring back the shine, rub it with a little lemon juice and salt or a soft polishing cloth, then rinse and dry. Or simply let the patina grow: it becomes uniquely yours.

About Ayurveda Heritage
Some things become part of you, wherever you call home.
For me, it was my grandmother’s copper pot. Brought home from India years after she moved to Canada, it brought a familiar ritual back into her everyday life—and inspired Ayurveda Heritage.
Our jewellery carries that same intention: to give something meaningful a place in your day. A copper cuff slipped on before work. A favourite piece worn so often that putting it on becomes a ritual of its own.
Each design is shaped by hand from 99.9% pure copper, never plated or coated. We pay attention to the weight, the edges and how it feels against your skin. With wear, the copper develops a patina that makes each piece increasingly your own.
We make our collection in small batches. When a design sells out, the next batch may take time. We hope yours becomes something you reach for every morning.

I Left Her Copper Pot Behind. I Never Forgot What It Meant.
When I moved from India to Canada, I packed my wedding jewellery, a pressure cooker and my mother’s recipe notebook.
My grandmother’s copper pot stayed behind.
I thought I was leaving a household object. Years later, I realised I missed the ritual.
Every evening, Nani filled it with water. Every morning, she poured us a glass before the chai. It was such an ordinary part of our lives that I never thought to ask about it.
After she passed away, my cousin handed me her pot.
“She said it was for you.”
Back in Canada, I placed it on my own windowsill. Filling it became a small moment to remember her.
That feeling became the beginning of Ayurveda Heritage.
It also shapes how I think about our copper jewellery: a piece you choose, wear often and give meaning to through your own life.
Perhaps, one day, someone you love will wear it too.
Find a piece to make your own.
I'm sure you'll love these too

Frequently asked questions
I've tried copper jewellery before and it didn't work. Why would this be different?
Most copper jewellery sold online is brass or steel with a thin copper coating that wears off. Ours is 99.9% pure copper all the way through, shaped by hand. Hold a magnet to it: real copper doesn't stick.
How do I take care of copper jewellery?
Copper naturally darkens and develops a patina. To bring back the shine, rub it with a little lemon juice and salt or a soft polishing cloth, rinse and dry. Or let the patina develop: many people prefer it.
Does copper actually do anything?
We don't make health claims. Copper has been worn for thousands of years and many people simply love wearing it every day. We make it because it's beautiful, honest and built to last.
Is there any scientific evidence?
Studies on copper bracelets haven't shown a proven health effect, so we don't promise one. What we do promise: real, 99.9% pure copper, made by hand.
Can I wear it in water, or in the shower?
Yes. Water and sweat can speed up the patina and may leave a harmless green mark on your skin, which washes off easily.
Is this just an overpriced piece of metal?
Every piece is shaped by hand from 99.9% pure copper, not stamped from plated metal. It's made to be worn daily for years and handed down.
